Early in my career I headed a pre-press department for a printer in the Central Valley. Learning those fundamentals of a commercial printer has been a valuable asset in my industry. Plus, I really love the smell of paper and freshly printed ink (seriously, so good!).
Eventually I moved on to nab a graphic design position. There I was the only female graphic designer, and proudly wore that title. I would go on to spend about 12 years working there. In 2012, I ventured out on my own. Utilizing my degree in business, the skills I’ve collected along the way, and a ride or die mentality.
